15 Portland-Area Jobs That Pay $20+ an Hour (October 2026)
Every job on this list pays at least $20 an hour, was posted in the last two weeks, and was live on the employer's site October 12, 2026. For each one you'll find the pay, the schedule, what the employer is asking for, and a direct link to apply.
This list goes with our Instagram post. Jobs come down fast, so if a link stops working, that job is probably filled.
How we picked these Portland jobs
We only list a job when all of this is true:
It's posted on the employer's own hiring site, not just a job board like Indeed.
It was posted in the last 14 days.
It shows pay, and the low end is $20 an hour or more.
It's in the Portland metro, or it's remote and open to Oregon residents.
It has at least a week left before it closes.
We lean toward sit-down jobs and jobs that don't need a degree or allow for comparable work experience.
Before you apply
Pay is the range the employer posted. Most new hires start near the low end.
Keep the Job ID. If a link breaks, search the ID on the employer's careers site.
We list jobs, not endorsements. We haven't vetted these employers on how they treat trans workers. If you've worked at one of them, tell us how it went at peers@werqt.org.

Your rights at work in Oregon
Oregon law makes it illegal for an employer to refuse to hire you, fire you or harass you because of your gender identity, gender expression or sexual orientation. If that happens, you can file a complaint with the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI), and you generally have up to five years to do it. A WERQ navigator can help you sort out next steps.
