    Work with you to determine realistic budget, must-haves vs nice-to-haves, and backup options. Help with rental application (including fees), references, and advocating with landlords. Coordinate tours and neighborhood walkthroughs before you move.

  • Employment Support

    Identify skill gaps and connect with free/low-cost training programs. Mock interviews, coaching, and confidence building. Help rewrite resume for Portland job market.

  • Direct In-Kind Support

    Where a specific cost is the barrier, we cover the real thing directly: a ticket bought, a document fee paid at the counter, furniture delivered. No cash transfers, no middleman, and we budget it with you so it lands where it matters.

  • Travel coordination

    Free flights through our nonprofit airline partner for qualified applicants. Bus and train ticket coordination when flights are not an option. Help coordinating pet travel, bags, and arrival logistics. We’ll pick you up from the airport!

  • Community Integration

    Connection to support groups and other newcomer networks. Comprehensive guide to Portland 2STNB resources and healthcare options. Plus public transportation support if needed.

  • 6 Month Follow-Up

    Connection to ongoing peer support specialist services, wellness support and personal health navigation. Connection to food security programs. Available support for housing, employment and other issues if needed.

We're low-key not-bad (aka kinda-good) at helping 2STNB folks plan successful relocations to Oregon. We can't control housing markets, job markets, or guarantee specific outcomes - but we can stack the deck in your favor through careful planning, community connections, and comprehensive support. Our success rates speak for themselves, but they come from hard work, not promises we can't keep.
